High degree of malignancy and easy to invade and metastasize are the characteristics of glioma, and the common methods used to treat glioma are surgery, radiation therapy, and medication now. The first treatment is difficult to completely remove lesions, because the boundary between tumor and surrounding normal tissues is not clear. The second therapy is harmful and costly. So medical treatment is particularly important. At present, there are many chemotherapeutic drugs or mono-clonal antibodies with different mechanisms of action in the research or market. This article summarizes the latest relevant mechanisms of drug treatment for glioma.
