Design Simulation of Energy Consumption of Passive Building Based on DeST

ABSTRACT

This paper establishes 3D model of the building and inputs the designed parameters of indoor environment, including ventilation mode, retaining structure, air conditioning system, air handle system and the heating and cooling systems. It uses DeST software to obtain the hourly dynamic simulation of heating and air conditioning, the load and energy consumption demand. It analyzes the results and is concluded: energy consumption for passive building is very small compared to ordinary building, operating cost for heating equipment is reduced, and the pollution of the environment is also decreased.
