国内外有关二语语用能力研究的成果及文献已有很多,但对语用能力成分构建及等级描述的研究至今仍没有统一的解释模式或分析框架,这无疑影响了第二语言或外语教学质量的提高。本文通过对社会语言学家Cummins 提出的三种语言能力解释模式中折射出的语用能力等级意义及认知特征的分析研究,讨论Cummins的语言能力观对语用能力等级描述研究的作用与意义。<br/>Although there has been considerable research on L2 pragmatic competence both at home and abroad, its components and level description are still controversial, which hinders the improve-ment of second or foreign language instruction. With the analysis of level and cognitive features of pragmatic competence in Cummins’s models of language competence, this paper discusses the theoretical contribution of Cummins’s language competence to the level description of pragmatic competence.
