文章回顾了国外基于生成语法的二语习得研究的进展,分析了其最新研究走势。研究指出,基于生成语法的二语习得研究已经走上跨学科的发展道路,运用神经科学手段探寻语言习得的神经机制,有助于最终解释人类语言习得的本质。文章提出开展基于生成语法理论的中国人习得二语的神经语言学研究。 This paper reviews the development of generative L2 acquisition research, and analyzes the new advancement of it. The study demonstrates that the generative L2 acquisition is on the way of in-terdisciplinary study, using the neuro-scientific technologies to seek the neural mechanisms of language acquisition, which will eventually help to interpret the question that “how the language is acquired”. 杨亦鸣,刘涛 [69] 认为语言是人脑最为高级的功能,所以脑科学研究的最高水平就是语言的认知研究,就是要揭示语言的神经机制;同时当语言学研究的目的从描写人类语言行为发展到解释人类语言能力的时候,语言学也不可逆转地走上了认知科学的道路,语言学由此迅速逼近语言神经机制和脑功能的研究,因此学科交叉研究成为语言学研究的必然趋向。我们对21世纪第一个十年顶级学术期刊关于语言学的文章做了统计,大致可以看出这一趋势。Science从2001到2011共发表语言学文章90余篇,其中大多是研究语言的神经机制,Nature从2001到2011共发表语言学文章50余篇,其中大多亦是关于语言神经机制的研究,另外Language从2001到2011发表过的关于语言习得和神经语言学研究的文章,其总和占十年所有文献的9.9%。国际语言学专业期刊中,Brain and language (美国)和Journal of Neurolinguistics (英国)分别排名第一和第十二。Hauser, Chomsky & Fitch [70] 于2002年在Science上发表文章,大力倡导语言学应与神经科学、心理科学等相关学科领域携手共同探究人类语言能力。由此可见,语言学、神经科学、心理科学学科交叉,从语言的神经机制入手研究语言及语言习得已然成为国际学术发展的趋势和潮流。
