Ruptured intracranial aneurysm (RIA), also known as Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH), is a disease with high mortality and morbidity. Therefore, neuroprotective therapy should be used before and after vascular embolization to prevent secondary brain injury and improve prognosis. Early neuroprotective therapy focused on the protection of neuroinflammation, thrombotic inflammation, brain metabolic disorders and delayed cerebral ischemia. This paper describes the role of neuroinflammation, thrombotic inflammation and metabolism in aSAH, and briefly discusses the treatment status of aSAH, hoping to provide selection and reference for the treatment of aSAH and neuroprotection before and after surgery.
