Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) is a common blood system disease, which has a significant impact on human health. In obstetric diseases, IDA is closely related to the health status of pregnant women and their offspring (preeclampsia, cesarean section, postpartum hemorrhage, hysterectomy, puer-peral infection, chorioamnionitis, endometritis, abnormal amniotic fluid, premature and low birth weight infants, small for gestational age infants, fetal growth restriction, decreased intelligence, motor ability and cognitive ability of offspring). Therefore, early prevention, diagnosis and stand-ardized treatment can benefit pregnant women and their offspring to some extent.
