The gallbladder is the most common primary cancer site in the biliary tract. The early development of gallbladder cancer is usually asymptomatic, and gallbladder cancer has a high tendency of me-tastasis and diffusion. Therefore, most patients are diagnosed in the middle and late stages and cannot be cured. Early diagnosis of gallbladder cancer can improve the prognosis of patients. This article reviews the latest advances in risk factors, imaging diagnosis and tumor markers of gallbladder cancer.
